Hello all! I have been thinking about starting a blog for awhile but am just now getting around to actually doing it. I thought it would be a good way to document the twins' milestones and allow friends and family to keep up with our lives easily. Hopefully I will keep up with it! :) Cade and Ryleigh are 2 months old as of yesterday and I can't believe it. They are learning and growing constantly! Lately they have learned to stick their tongues out and even mimic us when we do it. It's definitely the cutest thing ever! We went to the doctor today for their 2 month checkups. Cade now weighs 11 lbs, 2 oz (he was 6.9 at birth) and Ry now weighs 9 lbs, 5 oz (she was 5.11 at birth). They are staying awake longer during the day which means they are sleeping longer at night! WOOHOO!! Cade usually sleeps longer than Ry, and I'm assuming that maybe has something to do with him being bigger. Either way, 4-6 hours at a time is okay by me! They each got 3 shots today which made momma really sad! They both cried but only for a few minutes. Cade, of course, was the more dramatic of the two, turning red in the face and screaming after his. That wasn't surprising to us, though...he's a drama king!!
People ask us all the time how we do it with two but we don't know any differently. Just having one would be weird to us now! We are just so lucky and truly blessed by the support around us. Our families have been more than willing to help and having friends check up on us has been great. We just want everyone to know we appreciate you more than we could ever express! Thank you so much!!
Well, it's time to get our bedtime routine going, starting with baths!! Will post again soon!
